Recipe of Easy Mushroom Biriyani

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Mushroom Sliced 1 1/2 Lbs
Basmati Rice 2 Cup
Medium Onions Chopped 3 Numbers
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Tablespoons
Medium Tomatoes Diced 2 Numbers
Green Chillies (per Taste) Ground 6 Numbers
Shredded Coconut 1/2 Cup
Ghee 2 Tablespoons
Salt To Taste
Chopped Corinader To Taste
Chopped Mint To Taste
Piece Cinnamon 1 Numbers
Cloves 5 Numbers
Cardamoms 3 Numbers

Directions

Heat one tbsp ghee in a pan and saute onions and ginger garlic paste for 5 minutes . Then add the ground green chillies and continue frying . Then add the tomatoes and fry till tomatoes are soft.

Then add the sliced mushrooms with salt and saute for another 5 minutes .Finally add the ground coconut, powdered spices ,cilantro and mint.Mix well and simmer till thick.

Heat the other tbsp ghee in a pot and add the rice.Stir fry till the rice is well coated with ghee and add 4 cups water. Cover and let it cook .[You can add little turmeric powder for color and garam masala for taste at this point]

Once the rice is completely cooked , add the mushroom masala to the rice .Stir well and serve with raita and pickle.
