Description: This is my version of coconut chutney which I like to have it with dosa or idlis

Recipe of dosa chutney

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Green Chillies 2/3 Piece
Oil 1 Tablespoons
Curry Leaves some
Mustard Seeds 1 Teaspoons
Ginger small Piece
Coconut 2/3 Piece
Chana Dal Soaked Overnight half Cup
Tamarind Pulp some
Water half Cup


1. Firstly we will soak the chana dal overnite 2. In the pan put one tbsp of oil when hot add mustard seeds after they have popped up add curry leaves add chana dal and salt to taste fry the dal till it leaves oil. 3. let the roasted dal cool then grind it adding ginger,green chillies,coconut,tamarind pulp and water.
