Ingredients used in coconut rice
• Onions large - 2 numbers.
• Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Oil - 1 tablespoons.
• Ghee - 1 tablespoons.
• Elachi - 3 numbers.
• Cloves - 4 numbers.
• Coconut - 1 big.
• Basmati rice - 500 grams.
• Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
1. First cut the coconut into small piece and put it into a blender. 2. Boil 2 cups of water for 1 cup of rice and mix the blender into the hot water and put it aside. 3. Now take a pan(Pressure cooker (recommended)) oil,ghee,cloves,elachi,largely sliced onions. Stir them well until the onions turned into brownish color. 4. Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,salt,chilly powder and stir well. 5. Add 2 cups of coconut milk(2nd direction) for 1 cup of rice and stir it well. 6 Wait until the water is boiling and add rice to this content. 7. put a lid over the pan(weight in case of pressure cooker and wait until 4 whistles) until the rice became ready. 8. Once the rice was done, Serve hot. Note: Tastes good with chicken curry and potato curma
