Description: Today i made this rice. This is very simple and healthy.

Recipe of Capsicum and Cabbage Rice

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Ginger And Garlic Paste 1/2 Teaspoons
Green Chillies Chopped 2 Numbers
Pepper Or Chilli Powder(with Pepper Is Good) 1/2 Teaspoons
Cabbage, Shredded ½ Cup
Whole Garam Masala Spices(optional) 1tsp
Capsicum, Sliced 1 Numbers
Onion, Chopped 1 small Numbers
Uncooked Rice 1 Cup
Curry Leaves 1
Salt To Taste
Butter Or Oil 2 Teaspoons

Directions

Cook rice and set it aside to cool. Heat oil in a kadai and fry spices and add onion ,salt,curry leaves, ginger and garlic paste for 2 to 3 mins till it turns goldenish pink. Add cabbage and capsicum and cook for another 2 to 3 mins. Add rice, pepper, and salt. Simmer for 2 to 3 mins. Serve hot with Raita and pickles

this dish is just mouth watering,thanks for posting,just cook the veg abit longer

Tried this recipe, and its great. Using ghee would even make the recipe good. Need to cook the capsicum and cabbage for more than 2 mins as mentioned here. All the best.
