Ingredients used in Ras Malai
• Milk - 1 litre.
• Baking powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Oil - 1 tea spoon.
• Powdered milk - 1 cup.
• Cardamom - 1 number.
• Pista - 1 tea spoon.
• Kevera essence - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Sugar - 6 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Mix together the ingredients into a dough and form into a small oval, slightly flattened balls.
  • Meanwhile, boil the milk with sugar and cardamom (elaichi) seeds.
  • When the milk starts to boil add the balls. When they start to swell up lower the heat and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Just before removing from heat add kevera essence.
  • Garnish with pistachios.
